Ann Opgenorth

Ann Opgenorth has many large commissions for public and private installations, including the Risen Christ at Epiphany Parish in Lake City, Fla.

Several of her Florida wildlife steel wall pieces decorate the Welcome Center in White Springs, Fla.

She received a B.A. at Marycrest College in 1963 and a MFA at Notre Dame University in 1966. Ms. Opgenorth taught junior high art several years, then became assistant professor of art at Marycrest College until 1977. She opened Century Studio, later Ivy Ridge Studio, with Donna Marihart in 1964.
